This intimate group brings Saint Joseph and the Christ Child face to face, their outstretched hands creating a tender exchange. Joseph sits on a low stool while the Child kneels before him on a cushion. The contrasting red and blue of Joseph’s garments and the finely carved folds animate the small-scale composition.
The sculpture was lent by Gonzalo Eguiguren Gallery and Federico Cía to Luisa Roldán. Escultora real at the Museo Nacional de Escultura, Valladolid, in 2024–2025.
